Seed is a material that is used for regeneration or for planting purposes. When talking scientifically, it is a fertilized matured ovule covered with a coating. It is a part of the horticulture, silviculture, sericulture and of course agriculture industry.
 

 

Seeds generally contain an embryonic plant and they are known to contain endosperms and cotyledons. Experts in these fields state that the seeds of all crops should have the required level of 98% of physical purity, while ragi should have 97% purity and carrot should have 95% purity  

As mentioned earlier, it should form a vital part of agricultural industry and farmers deal with a number of seeds either for sowing purpose or sometimes, they harvest seeds like groundnut too. When it comes to harvesting, it was hard to measure the numbers produced, even though, the farmers were able to get the quantity in the form of weight, they were not able to get the number produced. But, nowadays, this task has become easier with seed counter.
